S.P.A.Y-L.E.E. help save my leg. Please help in recovering the costs!
S.P.A.Y. -L.E.E. (Suzanne MacDonald) rescued me from a county shelter after I was found in some bushes on Airport Road in Naples. I was dumped there with a broken leg and the shelter could not place me in that condition, you can guess what that meant for my future.
S.P.A.Y.-L.E.E. took me not knowing how long my leg had been broken. After reviewing the x-rays, it was concluded that the leg had been broken for about 3-4 weeks, so it had already started to heal. The only solution for my leg at this point was to either amputate or take me to Tampa to an Orthopedic Surgeon. Luckily, S.P.A.Y- L.E.E. chose Option B. I was off to Tampa to an orthopedic specialist and I came through the surgery with the results yet to be determined. So far things are looking pretty good. I will need several weeks of therapy with my foster "Mom" who is a local Veterinary Tech. S.P.A.Y. -L.E.E. Inc (501 C.3) Is strictly a volunteer organization relying solely on donations. THis has been a difficult year in the economy and that is reflected in S.P.A.Y.-L.E.E. donations. S.P.A.Y.-L.E.E. is making a special request to help pay for Abbys surgery. Please help if you can.
